This privacy notice tells you how we process your personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or engage with us as a customer, supplier or business partner.

DST-CHEMICALS reserves the right to update and modify this policy.

Categories of personal data.
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect: contact details (name, email, phone number, address), professional information (company name, job title), transaction data (purchase history, order and invoicing details), website usage data (anonymised IP address, browser type, operating system, browsing activity), and communication data (content of emails, contact form submissions, phone enquiries).

Purpose and legal basis.
We process your personal data for the following purposes. Processing enquiries and administering business relationships with customers, suppliers and partners, including handling purchases and invoicing: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures). Keeping records of previous communications and creating statistics to improve our services: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Website analytics via Google Analytics GA4: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Sending newsletters: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Compliance with legal obligations including bookkeeping and tax requirements: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).

Recipients of personal data.
We share personal data with: IT service providers and hosting companies acting as data processors, Google Ireland Limited acting as data processor for Google Analytics GA4, business partners involved in administering your purchases, and public authorities where required by law. We do not disclose your personal data to other third parties without your consent.

Website analytics.
If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics GA4. Google Ireland Limited acts as data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. GA4 anonymises IP addresses by default. We collect data about browsing behaviour to calculate metrics such as page views, sessions and bounce rate to understand how our website is used. The legal basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time via the cookie settings on our website. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 24 months. We use Cookie Information as our consent management tool. For our cookie policy, click the cookie icon in the lower left corner of the website.

International data transfers.
Google Analytics may transfer personal data to servers in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC has certified its compliance. We do not otherwise transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA unless adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.

Contact forms and newsletter.
We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were submitted. We do not use information from contact forms for direct marketing unless you have given specific consent. When you consent to receive our newsletter, you may unsubscribe at any time by emailing [email protected] with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject field or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.

In accordance with Section 10 of the Danish Marketing Practices Act, we do not send electronic marketing without prior consent.

Data retention.
Customer and supplier data: duration of the business relationship plus 5 years to comply with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
Contact form enquiries: up to 2 years after the enquiry is resolved, unless a business relationship is established.
Newsletter subscriber data: until you unsubscribe. Website analytics data: maximum 24 months.
Accounting records: 5 years from the end of the financial year as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
After the retention period, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights.
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15), have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16), have your data deleted in certain circumstances (Art. 17), restrict processing in certain circumstances (Art. 18), receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20), object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21), and object unconditionally to processing for direct marketing purposes (Art. 21(2)). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal (Art. 7(3)).
